Cyber Ark SME (PAM Specialist)
Location: Amsterdam, Netherlands
Employment Type: Freelance / Contract
Start Date:Immediate
Duration: 6 Months
Experience: 6–8 Years
We are seeking an experienced Cyber Ark Subject Matter Expert (SME) to support the implementation, administration, and optimization of a centralized Privileged Access Management (PAM) environment. This role involves working across on-premises, hybrid, and multi-cloud infrastructures while ensuring secure privileged access for enterprise systems.
Key Responsibilities- Administer and support Cyber Ark Core PAS solutions.
- Configure and manage Vault, CPM, PSM, PSMP, CP & CCP components.
- Implement and support centralized PAM across on-prem, hybrid, and multi-cloud environments.
- Enable and manage privileged access for personal and non-personal (service) accounts.
- Perform Cyber Ark component upgrades and manage DR failover/failback activities.
- Onboard Windows, SSH, database, and web application accounts into Cyber Ark.
- Troubleshoot PAM platform issues, custom connectors, and user onboarding challenges.
- Contribute to PAM architecture decisions and continuous platform improvements.
- Collaborate with technical teams and business stakeholders to deliver secure access solutions.
- 6–8 years of Cyber Ark PAM experience
- Hands-on experience with Cyber Ark Core PAS
- Vault, CPM, PSM, PSMP, CP & CCP administration
- Cyber Ark Sentry or CDE Certification
- Component upgrades and Disaster Recovery (DR)
- Windows, SSH, Database & Web Application onboarding
- Troubleshooting custom connectors
- Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills
- HTML5 PSM experience
- Cyber Ark AAM & AAM Integration
- Service Account Onboarding
- API Automation knowledge
- Hybrid & Multi-Cloud PAM environments
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management
- Ability to work independently and within enterprise teams
- Proactive approach to security and continuous improvement
- High attention to detail and documentation standards
