Application Packaging Engineer

As an Application Packaging Engineer, you will:

• Package and publish applications to end-user devices in accordance with customer policies and procedures.
• Analyze and collect technical requirements for application software.
• Support, maintain, and develop application packages to meet business requirements.
• Troubleshoot application installation issues on end-user systems.
• Resolve issues where users cannot access or see applications in the company portal.
• Ensure applications function correctly after installation and match the source package.
• Analyze cache logs to identify and resolve package deployment failures.
• Perform application re-engineering when required.

• 6+ years of experience as an Application Packaging Engineer.
• Extensive knowledge of modern Microsoft environments.
• Strong experience with Microsoft Azure and Digital Workplace Studio.
• Experience with application packaging, deployment, and troubleshooting.
• Good understanding of application lifecycle management and software deployment processes.
• Knowledge of secure and stable digital workplace environments.

• Analyze technical requirements and translate them into effective application packages.
• Troubleshoot application installation and deployment issues.
• Identify and resolve application visibility and publishing issues.
• Analyze cache logs and investigate package deployment failures.
• Ensure applications meet functional and technical requirements after installation.
• Work effectively with deployment processes, policies, and procedures.
• Perform application re-engineering and optimize existing application packages.
