Service Designer Job Amsterdam area,North Holland Netherlands,IT/Tech

Conduct qualitative user research through key-user interviews, user validation sessions, and end-user testing.
Collaborate with Business Process Analysts (BPAs) to gather, analyze, and translate user insights into actionable design outcomes.
Lead service and experience design activities ahead of the development phase.
Define future-state user journeys and service concepts based on user needs and business objectives.
Ensure upcoming features and solutions are conceptually sound, user-centered, and ready for delivery.
Facilitate Design Thinking workshops, co-creation sessions, and stakeholder alignment activities.
Work closely with business and technology stakeholders to build consensus around future solutions.
Contribute to shaping the product and service roadmap, including new features, new user groups, and integration of existing applications.
Help establish a strong user-centered approach to decision-making across business and IT teams.
Partner with product designers and development teams to translate strategic concepts into viable solutions.

What You Bring to the Table

8-10 years of overall professional experience, with strong experience in Service Design.
Strong hands-on experience in Service Design within complex environments.
Proven experience conducting qualitative user research, including interviews, validation, and user testing.
Strong ability to translate research findings and user insights into meaningful design recommendations.
Demonstrated experience in stakeholder management, facilitation, and cross-functional collaboration.
Experience working with both business and IT/technology stakeholders.
Strong understanding and practical experience with Design Thinking, co-creation, and user-centered design.
Experience defining user journeys, service concepts, and future-state experiences.
Ability to operate effectively at both strategic and hands-on execution levels.
Experience working on enterprise or operational systems is highly advantageous.
Understanding of the Dutch language is an advantage.

Communicate complex design concepts and research findings clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
