Position: product manager for global payments
Описание  Airwallex provides a unified payments and financial platform for global businesses, offering business accounts, payments, spend management, treasury, and embedded finance through proprietary infrastructure and software.
Задачи   Own the end-to-end product lifecycle for GTPN APIs, from ideation to delivery and ongoing optimization
Develop and champion the strategic vision and roadmap for the platform, balancing long-term innovation with short-term business needs
Engage directly with enterprise customers, developers, and partners to understand their needs, gather feedback, and validate product features
Translate complex use cases into scalable, secure, and intuitive APIs in collaboration with engineering teams
Lead cross-functional teams across engineering, design, sales, compliance, and data science to deliver impactful solutions
Use data-driven methods to define and measure success metrics, prioritize requirements, and communicate plans and launches
Represent GTPN in strategic conversations with senior stakeholders and enterprise partners
Mentor and lead other product managers, with the opportunity to grow into a broader leadership role
Stay ahead of industry trends in payments, APIs, and financial technology, and leverage AI/ML where relevant to drive product innovation
Требования   6+ Years of product management experience, including at least 3 years focused on platform/API products in fintech, payments, or financial infrastructure
Proven track record of defining, building, and launching successful, scalable API-powered platforms or products
Deep technical understanding of API design principles, security, and developer experience
Experience considering user requirements and commercial strategy to drive meaningful product growth
Strong ability to manage trade-offs between long-term vision and short-term execution
Excellent communication skills for conveying product strategy to technical and non-technical audiences
Comfortable working in data-driven, cross-functional teams in a fast-paced, global environment
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
Flexibility to work across multiple time zones and with global teams
Exceptional English and Chinese communication skills
Nice to have:

Experience with global card networks and banking partners, familiarity with OpenAPI/Swagger, Postman, Git Hub, or API client tooling, hands-on developer experience, knowledge of regulatory compliance, KYC/AML, and card network rules, experience in hyper-growth startup environments, financial infrastructure, or technology, a Master's degree in a relevant field, passion for solving complex problems at the intersection of finance, artificial intelligence, and developer platforms
Условия  Compensation range: €107,925 - €170,000.
