The Role
Are you passionate about transforming complex data into meaningful business insights? Do you enjoy building scalable data models, developing efficient data transformation pipelines, and delivering enterprise-grade Business Intelligence solutions? We are looking for a BI Engineer who combines strong analytical thinking with hands‑on expertise in Power BI, PySpark, SQL, and Data Modelling. You will work closely with Data Engineers, Product Owners, Architects, and Business Stakeholders to build robust reporting solutions and enable data‑driven decision making across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

Design and develop scalable Power BI dashboards and enterprise reporting solutions.

Build and maintain reusable semantic data models to support business reporting and self-service analytics.

Develop complex PySpark transformation logic for cleansing, enriching, aggregating, and preparing large datasets for analytical consumption.

Design and implement dimensional data models including Fact & Dimension tables, Star Schema, and Snowflake Schema.

Collaborate with Data Engineering teams to integrate data from multiple enterprise sources into reporting layers.

Develop optimized SQL queries, views, and stored procedures to support reporting and analytics.

Perform data validation, reconciliation, and root cause analysis to ensure reporting accuracy and consistency.

Optimize dashboard performance through efficient DAX measures, query optimization, and model tuning.

Translate business requirements into technical reporting solutions and analytical models.

Partner with Product Owners and business stakeholders to define KPIs and reporting standards.

Promote BI best practices around governance, reusable datasets, naming conventions, and documentation.

Support production issues, data investigations, and continuous improvements across the BI platform.
