Data & AI Specialist (Agile Transformation)

Role Description
As the Data & AI Specialist within an Agile transformation department, you will hold a twofold mandate.
First, you will own the department's data and reporting infrastructure, building the pipelines, dashboards, and measurement frameworks that provide leadership and Agile coaches with evidence-based insight into the progress and impact of transformation initiatives.
Second, you will drive the conceptual and practical integration of AI into the department, shaping how Agile coaches use AI in their day-to-day work and evolving Agile practices for teams whose product development is increasingly AI-assisted. You will act as an internal expert, partnering with the Data & AI Lead, Agile coaching leads, and trainers to translate ambition into adopted practices and working systems.

Key Responsibilities
Data & Reporting

Build and operate the department's data infrastructure.

Design and maintain pipelines, data models, and reporting layers.

Transform engagement, training, and coaching activity into reliable metrics on progress, adoption, and outcomes.

Deliver dashboards and analytics that support evidence-based decision making.

Ensure data is actionable and easy to consume.

Measurement & Analytics

Define measurement frameworks for Agile coaching impact.

Partner with Agile coaches and leadership to convert qualitative outcomes into measurable indicators.

Continuously evolve measurement approaches as the transformation matures.

AI Enablement

Integrate AI tools and workflows into Agile coaching practices.

Identify, prototype, and implement AI-assisted approaches that improve coaching effectiveness.

Support use cases such as content generation, preparation, synthesis of observations, and knowledge sharing.

Agile Practices for AI-Assisted Development

Research how Agile practices should evolve for AI-assisted product development teams.

Adapt backlog refinement, estimation, iteration planning, Definition of Done, quality practices, and team topologies.

Translate findings into training and coaching materials.

Coaching & Community Building

Coach and enable Agile coaches in AI tooling and data literacy.

Facilitate workshops, enablement sessions, and working groups.

Collaborate with trainers to embed AI into training programs.

Share learnings, experiments, and best practices across the Agile community.

Stakeholder Management

Partner with Product and Engineering teams adopting AI-assisted development.

Align with internal data platform and AI enablement teams.

Support leadership stakeholders through reporting and insights.

Required Skills & Experience

Strong hands-on experience with data engineering and analytics.

Experience building and maintaining data pipelines, data models, and dashboards.

Advanced SQL skills and experience with modern data stacks and BI tools.

Practical experience designing and scaling AI/LLM-based workflows.

Knowledge of Agile methodologies, including Scrum, Kanban, and DORA metrics.

Experience in Agile product development environments.

Ability to translate ambiguous challenges into measurable frameworks and practical solutions.

Strong facilitation, training, and coaching skills.

Comfortable operating across technical and organizational domains.

Familiarity with AI coding assistants and agentic workflows is a strong advantage.

Scrum Master or Agile Coach experience is highly desirable.
