LASEO is growing fast and we're looking for an SEO Lead: the person who sets our strategy, keeps our team sharp, and makes clients win in search. This is not a role where you work through tickets, this is the role where you set direction.

We are LASEO, a specialized SEO agency in Amsterdam. We combine technical SEO, content and digital PR into growth you can see in revenue, not just in a report. Our clients are brands like Philips, Bugaboo and Bang & Olufsen: organizations with complex websites, multiple markets, and leadership teams that ask sharp questions.

As SEO Lead you are the most senior SEO voice in the room. You carry final responsibility for the strategy across a portfolio of clients, you steer the specialists working on it, and you decide how we practise our craft: the methodology we use, the quality bar we hold, and the discussions we do and don't take on with a client.

You will also help build what comes after classic SEO. Search behaviour is shifting to AI search engines and assistants, and we want our clients to be as dominant there as they are in Google. You define what that approach looks like and translate it into work the team can execute.

We're a team of SEO specialists, content strategists and digital PR experts who keep each other sharp, test ideas instead of holding meetings about them, and celebrate wins together. Friday afternoon drinks included.## What you'll doYou are accountable for the results of your portfolio and for the people delivering them. In practice that means:
* You own the SEO strategy and organic growth of a portfolio of clients.
* You steer a team of SEO specialists, content creators and link builders: dividing the work, guarding quality, and giving feedback people actually get better from.
* You coach juniors and mediors, turning every specialist into a stronger version of themselves. Their growth is your result.
* You turn data from Search Console, GA4, SEMrush and Ahrefs into decisions: where we invest, what we stop doing, and what it returns.
* You back investments with forecasts and business cases, and present them to marketing managers and executives.
* You guard the technical quality of complex, international websites and hold your own in conversations with developers.
* You expand our approach to AI search engines so clients stay visible inside AI answers as well.
* You develop our playbooks, templates and internal standards, so quality never depends on one person.
* You contribute to pitches and new business, and spot growth opportunities within existing accounts.## What you bring

* 5+ years of SEO experience, including at least 2 years in a senior or lead role.
