We are seeking an experienced Portfolio Manager to join a dynamic Change organisation within a fast-paced international retail environment. Reporting directly to the Head of Project & Portfolio Management, you will play a key role in shaping and governing the overall change portfolio across Commerce and Supply Chain. The primary focus of this position is to consolidate departmental roadmaps into a single integrated portfolio, ensuring alignment between business, IT, Business Intelligence, process management, and project delivery teams.
You will be responsible for portfolio governance, strategic prioritisation, investment processes, and executive-level reporting.
Responsibilities
Consolidate multiple programme roadmaps into one integrated portfolio
Prioritise initiatives based on strategic value and business impact
Establish and maintain portfolio governance frameworks
Standardise project approval processes, documentation, and investment procedures
Facilitate alignment between business, IT, BI, process management, and project teams
Monitor resource allocation and capacity planning across projects and programmes
Track portfolio performance, risks, dependencies, and overall health
Escalate strategic risks and conflicts to senior leadership
Support strategic planning and investment decision-making
Maintain transparency regarding portfolio status, priorities, and changes
Present portfolio performance reports to executive management
Lead and coach a team of 6-8 Medior Project Managers
Requirements
Master's degree (MSc)
Minimum 8 years of experience in Project Portfolio Management within a large and fast-paced organisation
Proven experience in Change Management and Project Management
Experience with in Supply Chain, Commerce, Retail or related industries is highly preferred
Strong people management and leadership capabilities
Excellent stakeholder management skills
Analytical and structured mindset
Strong communication skills with executive stakeholders
Ability to operate cross-functionally and beyond departmental boundaries
Self-starter with a proactive attitude
Fluent English required;
Dutch is a plus
