This is an exciting opportunity to join the business and be the spearhead figure in establishing a comprehensive information security strategy.
Responsibilities :
Develop, implement, and maintain the organization's information security policies, standards, and procedures.
Lead security risk assessments and audits to identify vulnerabilities and implement mitigation strategies.
Oversee the security architecture, ensuring that all IT systems, networks, and applications are secure.
Manage and respond to cybersecurity incidents, breaches, and threats, minimizing potential damage.
Ensure compliance with regulatory frameworks (e.g., GDPR, ISO 27001, NIS2, SOC
2) and industry best practices.
Collaborate with IT and business leaders to align security initiatives with overall business objectives.
Oversee security awareness training programs to educate employees on cybersecurity risks and best practices.
Manage relationships with external security vendors, auditors, and regulatory bodies.
Drive security innovations by evaluating and implementing emerging cybersecurity technologies.
Report regularly to the executive team and board of directors on security risks, strategies, and progress.
