Volunteer at West Walk-In Centre: Hair, Resumes

We are looking for new volunteers in our walk-in centre AMOC West, who want to contribute to making it a nice and accessible place for everyone.

• Hairdresser (once a week)
  Give people a fresh start with a haircut.
• Resume helper (once a week)
  Help visitors create their resumes. Do you speak one or more European languages (Romanian, Polish, Spanish, German, Italian, Bulgarian or English)? If so, that's a big plus. If necessary, we will also use translation tools together.
• Creative facilitator (once every 2 weeks)
  Supervise a fun arts & crafts morning or afternoon. We provide the materials, you provide the creativity.
• Telephone interpreter (on call)
  Sometimes we need an interpreter quickly during intakes. Can you help translate over the phone and do you have a feel for social work? This is flexible and easy to combine, e.g. from home. Bulgarian and Romanian are especially needed, but all European languages are welcome.
