For one of the largest shipping companies in the Netherlands with their head office in Amsterdam we are looking for a Superintendent Navigation & Communication. So we are looking for YOU

What is the Job about
The Superintendent Nav Com is responsible for Service, maintenance and repair of Navigation and Communications equipment on board, and for handling Navigation and Communication related IT issues.

What would be your job

• Arranging Nav Com inspections.
• Follow-up of services.
• Checking incoming reports and invoices.
• Specifying nautical and technical equipment.
• Active monitoring of (changed) Nav Com regulations and informing TD accordingly.

We are looking for someone whose work standards are high and who acts accordingly. You are independent, analytical, flexible and have the capacity to solve problems. You are a Team worker who contributes to joined results and focuses on joint organization goals.

What do theyask

• Actual knowledge of Nav Com equipment anno 2024.
• Technical understanding of electronics and/or willingness to learn.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbally and in writing (Dutch and English).
• No 9-to-5 mentality.
