Junior Logistics Coordinator

Ecom Cocoa Products (Theobroma B.V.) is an international commodity trader and integrated processor of cocoa beans and cocoa products. Theobroma is a supplier of semi‑finished products to the chocolate industry and has a large international customer base with a turnover of more than 1 billion USD. It is part of the Ecom group, a global international commodity merchant active in coffee, cocoa and cotton and operating in over 40 countries.

We are looking for you to further strengthen our Logistics department.

We are looking for a (Junior) coordinator within the Solids Desk, who is eager to learn and become a pro‑active professional with good communication skills. Personal responsibility encourages you to improve the daily workflow. The role requires strong communication skills, a drive for results and you will learn how to solve logistics problems. Are you an EU citizen with a vocational qualification at EQF Level 4 (MBO‑4) or a bachelor’s degree (HBO)? Then you could be the perfect fit for our team!

• You will become the first contact for our customers, you work closely with the planners and you maintain contact with transporters, factories and warehouses.
• Contract management, order processing. Within time your overall overview provides you with the basis to come up with improvement proposals.
• You will learn to coordinate the call and organize the delivery to the customer from A to Z.

• You like to work in a dynamic environment, with changing logistical challenges and you think further than your own department.
• You have an overall view and a strong sense of planning, organising and coordinating.
• You have strong communication skills or are eager to develop your professional communication skills.
• In stressful situations, you remain positive and help find practical solutions.
• You are eager to learn, enthusiastic, and enjoy working as part of a team.
• You are hands‑on and assist in improving processes.
• You have MBO‑4 (vocational qualification at EQF Level
  4) or HBO (Bachelor) work‑level, preferably in Logistics.
• You have experience with customs documents, import & export.
• Experience with SAP is a great advantage.
