Maintenance Engineer (f/m/d)

Location:

MEININGER Hotel Amsterdam City West - Full-time, On-site.

We are looking for an experienced Maintenance Engineer (f/m/d) to join the maintenance team at our MEININGER Hotel Amsterdam City West.

• Perform visual checks of communal areas and hotel grounds.
• Execute the exchange of wear and tear parts such as light bulbs and mattresses.
• Carry out basic repairs on furniture and bathroom equipment.
• Perform small painting works.
• Monitor and maintain utility areas and equipment.
• Work closely with FM contractors and the FM department to develop and execute maintenance plans.
• Manage and keep stock of all maintenance inventory supplies and equipment.
• Respond to customer and management inquiries and requests, documenting them accordingly.
• Ensure interior and exterior cleanliness and maintenance of the hotel.
• Maintain flexibility in working hours, including weekends and public holidays.
• Apply preventive maintenance processes.

• Technical background or education; relevant practical experience is a plus.
• Strong ability to help people and get things done.
• Efficient and independent work style with ability to organize multiple projects and tasks.
• Flexibility to work weekdays, weekends, and public holidays.
• Fluency in English; proficiency in Dutch preferred.
• Driver’s license (Category
  
  B).
