Duration: 3-6 Month Contract (potential for extension)

Irwin and Colton have been engaged by a Principal Contractor who are seeking a Senior HSE Manager to oversee a major Data Centre project in Amsterdam. This role is overseeing a major Principal Contractor operation, so experience working with or interacting with Tier 1 contractors or clients is highly desirable.

Key Responsibilities:

Regularly visiting the site, advising operational managers to ensure the efficient and effective delivery of the Health and Safety strategy.
Conducting site audits to ensure compliance with Health and Safety standards.
Preparing and presenting HSE reports to the senior management team.
Leading accident investigations and incident reporting, including root cause analysis.
Reviewing existing and new systems of work, identifying potential flaws or training needs to enhance the on-site safety culture. Requirements:

Proven experience in a similar role within Data Centres, construction, or M&E sectors.
A NEBOSH/NCRQ Diploma, NVQ Level 5 (or equivalent), and ideally, Chartered Membership of IOSH (CMIOSH).
Excellent communication skills, with demonstrated success in engaging with clients and contractors.
Strong technical knowledge of relevant health and safety legislation, compliance, and regulations.
