Influencer Lead

Job Purpose

We’re looking for an Influencer Lead to help define and grow the influencer discipline at DEPT®. Based in London and part of our Creative & Media team, you’ll play a key role in evolving our creator offering, developing standout campaigns, supporting junior team members, and ensuring our work is creatively brave, culturally relevant, and consistently excellent.

• Shape Our Creator Offering
  • Define best‑in‑class influencer work at DEPT®.
  • Drive the creative development of influencer‑first ideas in response to client briefs.
  • Collaborate closely with Creative, Strategy, and Client Services teams to embed influencer thinking early.
  • Identify opportunities to elevate and evolve our influencer product across process, partnerships and tools.
• Campaign Leadership
  • Oversee campaign planning and delivery ensuring high standards in creativity and execution.
  • Guide the development of influencer approaches that align with brand, communications, and cultural objectives.
  • Match talent to campaign goals using audience insights, platform trends and brand positioning.
  • Contribute to key messaging, creative narratives, and content formats that feel native to creators while delivering on client KPIs.
• Team Development & Support
  • Act as a mentor and line manager to junior and mid‑level team members, providing guidance, feedback, and growth opportunities.
  • Run team sessions and reviews to share learnings and improve quality of output.
  • Help onboard and train new joiners to ensure consistency across the influencer team.
  • Advocate for the influencer discipline internally, helping other departments understand when to plug us in.

• 5+ years of experience in influencer marketing, ideally across creative and execution roles.
• Passion for the creator economy and deep understanding of platforms such as Tik Tok, Instagram, You Tube and emerging formats.
• Experience working with global and culturally diverse talent from niche creators to celebrity partnerships.
• Strong creative instincts and a sharp eye for what good influencer content looks like.
• Confident collaborator and communicator, able to work across teams and functions to bring ideas to life.
• Natural mentor and people‑first leader who enjoys coaching and supporting others.
• Hands‑on experience managing and delivering influencer campaigns at scale.
