VACANCY

Linked In Advertising Specialist

TLDR

Location Amsterdam / Hybride Type Full time Department Advertising Team

Most advertisers optimise for CPL. We are measured on pipeline. If you feel that difference, read on.

Gradient is the only B2B growth firm in the Netherlands. We move B2B companies away from one-off campaigns towards a predictable Growth System: strategy, performance, content, Rev Ops and media as one whole, with Hub Spot at its heart. At our clients, Marketing, Sales and Service do not work next to each other but with each other. Growth here is not a coincidence, it is designed.

In B2B, Linked In is the sharpest instrument we have. It is the only channel where you can reach an entire buying committee by name, and at the same time the channel where money evaporates fastest if you use it superficially. That is why we are looking for someone who advertises broadly, but truly masters Linked In. Not as a channel you run on the side, but as a craft.

What you will do
  • You carry full responsibility for Advertising at one or more clients. You start from the growth plan and the Growth Motion, and translate that into campaigns that turn intent into pipeline.
  • You carry Linked In Ads as your centre of gravity: strategy, structure, targeting, budget and optimisation, from first touch to demo request
  • Alongside that, you build and steer campaigns on Google and Meta, plus programmatic where it earns its place
  • You set targeting at audience and account level, brief creative and copy, and run structured tests that start from a hypothesis
  • You manage budgets and adjust based on what moves the pipeline, not on vanity metrics
  • Across campaigns and channels, you spot where conversion leaks out of the funnel, and connect scattered signals into a direction worth acting on
  • You work with Growth Marketers, content, performance and Rev Ops so that ads connect to the rest of the funnel and to sales
  • You advise clients with substance behind it: data, market developments, learning loops
  • You work AI-native on the Gradient Operating System and actively share what works, so that successful approaches become scalable across the team

You report to the Team Lead and are guided on the craft by our Champ Advertising. The team is around 15 FTE.

Linked In is your home turf

Concretely, we expect you to be at home in the following:

  • ABM and buying committee targeting: company lists, job functions and seniority, plus the judgement to know when a contact list beats a filter
  • The full format palette, and knowing when to use what: sponsored content in all its forms, document ads, thought leader ads, lead gen forms
  • Measurement in order:
Insight Tag, Conversions API and feeding CRM data back, so you steer on what happens further down the funnel rather than on form fills
  • Guarding frequency, audience overlap and saturation. Linked In is expensive, and waste shows up in CAC immediately
  • Guarding the balance between demand creation and demand capture, and being able to defend that choice to a client who wants leads today
  • Briefing creative and copy per funnel stage, and testing on message and offer, not just on cosmetics
What you need to bring
  • At least 3 years hands-on Linked In Ads in B2B, with your own responsibility for strategy, budget and optimisation
  • At least 5 years in performance advertising in total, of which at least 3 within a growth agency or a comparable environment
  • You have managed meaningful Linked In budgets and can explain what that delivered in pipeline, not in leads
  • Experience with measurement and attribution:
Insight Tag, Conversions API or offline conversion import, and connecting channel data to CRM
  • Experience in B2B and with long, complex sales cycles. You understand the difference between a lead and pipeline
Also important
  • Google Ads at an independent level. Meta is a plus, not a requirement
  • Experience with marketing and CRM platforms, preferably Hub Spot, and comfort in an integrated martech environment
  • Strongly analytical. You read an account, see the pattern and know what to do about it
  • You can explain a decision to a client without hiding behind a dashboard
  • You work independently, run several clients at once and keep the overview
  • Dutch and…
