Is this the role for you?

This role leads the local TV Media Marketing department in The Netherlands. The role is part of the EMEA TV media marketing department and is responsible for setting up and executing the local marketing strategies across the Benelux region, maximizing the awareness and engagement of our channels.

• Be responsible for all marketing activities for the TV channels (Comedy Central, Paramount Network, MTV) in Benelux.
• Lead the Marketing and Social Media department in Amsterdam (2 head counts).
• Actively define and manage marketing campaigns and initiatives that drive TV and digital KPIs. Set up the strategy and implement measures in close cooperation with the programming department, ad sales, the media planning department, PR and the international marketing teams.
• Lead and manage above-the-line, social media and influencer marketing campaigns.
• Monitor performance and optimize digital activations based on insights and KPIs.
• Steer and manage the media strategies for all local channels in partnership with the media agency.
• Work actively on marketing presentations and pitch decks.
• Be part of the local leadership team in NL.
• Identify and install brand related partnerships with external parties that widen the brands’ visibility in the region.
• Manage marketing and social media budgets in cooperation with the finance department.
• Track spend against agreed marketing plans, ensuring cost efficiency, transparency, and compliance with internal processes.
• Stay abreast of channel performance as well as trends and developments within the media landscape.

• A Bachelor's or Master's degree in marketing or a related field.
• 5+ years in TV, media, content marketing, telecom, social media, a media agency or client-side marketing.
• Native-level Dutch and excellent English.

• A genuine love of entertainment: comedy, TV, sitcoms and animation are your world.
• A creative mindset. You turn strategy into marketing that gets people talking and watching.
• A strong analytical streak. You read the data and use it to shape your plans and campaigns.
• Proven project or process management experience, with the organisation and coordination skills to keep many moving parts on track.
