For three and a half years, we have been organising community events, both for ourselves and for our clients.

It has become a clear part of our proposition, and we see a lot of future in it.

We have solid playbooks for different types of events. A strong foundation you can build on, improve and make your own.

Now we are looking for a creative organiser who becomes the driving force behind events, community and content within our team of four. Someone who takes ownership, keeps all the balls in the air and helps us take this to the next level.

• Organise and manage our own events and events we run on behalf of clients, from concept to follow up
• Use and further develop our event playbooks
• The split between own events and client events is roughly 50/50 today. This may shift as we grow

• Build and grow engaged communities around Scaler Company and our clients
• Keep members involved between events and find new ways to create value for them

• Make sure there is strong content around every event: announcements, recaps, photos, video and after movies
• Create content that strengthens the Scaler Company brand, for example on Linked In
• Support client events with fitting content
• Create content yourself where you can, brief and manage freelancers where needed. There is budget to outsource. What matters is that great content gets made

• Plan, coordinate and keep projects on time and on budget
• Grow our event proposition commercially with the team: think along in client conversations, shape proposals and concepts, and show clients why they should organise their events through us
• Bringing in sponsors or partners is a big plus

• Have 3 to 5 years of experience in event management, community building or a similar role
• Are creative and highly organised at the same time
• Take ownership and enjoy being the driving force in a small team
• Have a feel for content and storytelling. Hands on skills in writing, Canva or basic video editing are a plus
• Are comfortable in conversations with clients and like to think commercially
• Communicate well in English. Dutch is a plus
