Senior Manager Brand & Communications at Benelux

The B Lab Benelux (BNL) team is a markets team within the global B Lab organisation. The community of B Corps across the Netherlands, Belgium, and Luxembourg is scaling rapidly, as the demand for B Corp certification and interest in impact management tools and programs is fast growing. We serve +500 B Corps in the Netherlands, and over 700 across the BNL.

We are looking for a Senior Brand & Communications Manager with a strong drive to join our ambitious entrepreneurial BNL team. You are a strategic and conceptual thinker, experienced to manage a small team, and therefore also a collaborative pragmatic ‘do‑er’. You know how to amplify the B Lab and B Corp brand across channels and the BNL region, strengthening our reputation and advancing our mission to build an economic system that benefits people and the planet.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone keen to join a purpose‑led global organization and movement, working to make a difference with the community of B Corps in the global economy. You will work closely with the BNL Director and your team to develop and implement a strategic communications strategy for the Benelux region.

Using global B Lab assets and our owned channels, you will help strengthen our credibility, integrity, and reputation with key audiences and prospective customers. In this role, you provide leadership and strategic guidance, while managing the communications and supporting their professional development. Finally you will work closely together with other Senior team members, building the movement and overlooking the engagement and impact of the B Corp community within the BNL team.

As an allround Senior Brand & Communications Manager, you are overlooking our BNL communications that underpin and strengthen our brand and reputation across 3 countries and cultures, and enable the wider team with the right assets to maintain our reputation and professionally engage with our B Corp customers. As a senior representative, you are comfortable presenting the B Lab mission and strategy to various groups and audiences.

Finally, you have the responsibility for managing the team and their individual performance, and to represent the strategic brand and communication perspective in overarching BNL decisions.

Benelux Communication Strategy (20%)

You are responsible for developing an overarching Benelux communication strategy aligned to organisation wide strategy, strengthening our brand(s). With your team you will oversee our reputation management, media relations and PR (inbound and outbound), communication around programs and campaigns, social media and lobby and advocacy. You develop the narrative (content, message and channels) tailored to our various audiences, and the concepts and campaigns that increase B Corp awareness and result in a commercially appealing and distinctive brand in the market.

You can partly draw upon European and global strategies and assets; your role is to work with the team to adapt these to the Dutch, Belgian, and Luxembourgish contexts and languages.

Brand, Reputation and PR management (20%)
