Gender Equality & Social Inclusion Specialist

Non-Key Expert - Gender Equality & Social Inclusion Specialist    NTU International  is preparing a proposal for the project  “Support to the Africa-EU Space Partnership Programme - AESPP Boost.”
The programme aims to strengthen cooperation between  Africa and the European Union in the space sector , supporting policy dialogue, institutional partnerships, knowledge exchange, innovation, private sector engagement and investment, while contributing to stronger and more sustainable African space ecosystems.
In this context, we are seeking a highly qualified  Non-Key Expert - Gender Equality & Social Inclusion Specialist  to support the systematic integration of gender equality and social inclusion considerations across programme activities, ensuring inclusive participation, gender-responsive implementation and equitable access to opportunities generated through Africa-EU space cooperation.

Minimum Qualifications and Skills   University degree at  Master’s level  in  gender studies, social sciences, development studies , or a related field.
Excellent command of  English .
Working knowledge of  French and/or Portuguese  will be considered an asset.
Minimum General Professional Experience   Minimum  8 years of professional experience  in  gender equality, social inclusion and/or inclusive development in international cooperation .
Minimum Specific Professional Experience   At least  4 years of professional experience designing and applying gender-responsive approaches in donor-funded programmes , including gender analysis, sex-disaggregated indicators, inclusive stakeholder participation, training and/or gender-responsive communication. Familiarity with EU external-action gender policy and experience in Africa are assets.
