ARCNL welcomes motivated students who are eager to gain hands-on research experience through an internship or thesis project. Are you studying physics, chemistry, materials science, computer science or another related field? Do you want to contribute to cutting‑edge research at the intersection of fundamental science and industry applications? Then we invite you to apply for an internship or thesis project at ARCNL.
QualificationsWe are looking for candidates who are:
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Physics, Chemistry, Materials Science, Computer Science, or a related discipline at a European university.
- Curious, creative, and enthusiastic about experimental and/or theoretical research.
ARCNL performs fundamental research, focusing on the physics and chemistry involved in current and future key technologies in nanolithography, primarily for the semiconductor industry. While the academic setting and research style are geared towards establishing scientific excellence, the topics in ARCNL’s research program are intimately connected with the interests of the industrial partner ASML.
The institute is located at Amsterdam Science Park and currently employs about 100 people, including around 65 ambitious (young) researchers from around the globe.
