Amsterdam UMC is seeking an ambitious PhD candidate to study the interaction between
E. coli carriage, diarrheal disease risk, and AMR infections in infants in LMIC settings. You will work with datasets to identify determinants and support international clinical studies.
The role includes agent-based modeling to simulate colonization resistance and ARG transmission, guiding microbiome-based interventions and informing vaccine trial endpoints.
