As a Sommelier in Restaurant Vermeer, you are the link between the kitchen and the service team, and you provide a subtle and personable service. Together with the chef, you know how to enthuse and amaze the guests with a unique wine menu and exciting wine and food combinations. Your ultimate goal is for our guests to walk out the door with more than a satisfied feeling and return in the future.

You can connect with a diverse audience, from local residents to day tourists. You know what the "talk of the town" is , you are creative, and you are aware of culinary innovations. You enjoy creating and realizing ideas together with the team.

You meet the following requirements:

• You have at least 2 years of experience as assistant sommelier in a fine dining restaurant;
• You have an MBO 4 diploma Hotel School or similar credentials;
• You have an affinity for wine, and you have your wine certificates;
• You have good organizational and communication skills;
• You speak English fluently, Dutch is an advantage.
