You stroll into the flower auction at 05:45. The smell of fresh flowers is everywhere, and your colleagues are already buzzing around. You kick off the day with your team, coffee in hand. After the morning chat, you know exactly what's on the agenda.
The coolest part of this gig?
You start early but often wrap up around 12:00 or 13:00. That means you've got the rest of the day to do your thing.
As a order picker, you make sure flowers and plants get to the right spots within the auction fast, safe, and spot-on.
Your duties include:
- Getting flowers and plants to the right places;
- Driving an electric cart;
- Wearing a headset that gives you clear instructions;
- Checking that orders land in the right spot;
- Teaming up with colleagues in the logistics process;
- Helping everything run smoothly;
- Keeping the work area safe and tidy.
No experience? No worries. You'll get all the training and guidance you need to start working on your own in no time.
