As a skilled deal-maker, you combine your knowledge of commodities and finance to identify and meet client needs. While confidence is your strength, you also understand the value of constructive feedback. A background in Environmental Commodities, such as carbon, biofuels, and renewable energy markets, would be a distinct advantage.

Based in Amsterdam, we are a small and young team that is looking for entrepreneurial person that is self-motivated and is looking to bring the company to the next stage.
Role Responsibilities:
As a Sales Trader, your responsibilities will encompass:
Cultivating relationships with top-tier entities, including utilities, project developers, and corporates.
Facilitating transactions in line with both client and Amsterdam Renewable Markets' standards.
Striving to meet and exceed annual sales targets, ensuring sustained growth.
Engaging in trading activities involving renewable power certificates, carbon offsets, among others.
Daily interactions with team clients, expertly managing existing portfolios while simultaneously expanding the client base.
Continuously monitoring environmental commodities market shifts and proactively aiding Amsterdam Renewable Markets' growth.
Innovating commodity deal structures that satisfy both client and company objectives.
Role Requirements:
To fit this role:
Dutch & English fluency is a must. French or German fluency is a plus.
You should have a Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in fields like business, finance, economics, or similar.
Bring along 0-3 years of experience in commodities trading, brokering, or business development, ideally within the energy or industrial sectors.
Be a self-starter with a keen desire for continual learning.
Your dedication to environmental preservation should be evident.
Skilled in generating leads using diverse strategies.
Cold calling.
You should either reside in or be willing to move to Amsterdam
