Role Summary At Billennium, we combine technology with business impact. As a Business Development Manager, you will act as a trusted partner and frontline ambassador of Billennium, responsible for developing and strengthening relationships with clients across the Dutch and Scandinavian markets.
We are looking for a proactive, business-oriented professional who understands the specifics of the Dutch market and broader Nordic region, and can effectively build long-term partnerships, drive growth, and ensure business continuity.
What you will do Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, managers, and partners across the Dutch and Nordic IT markets
Understand client needs, expectations, and challenges, proactively addressing them to ensure high satisfaction and long-term cooperation
Execute account strategies and contribute to Account Plans to drive revenue growth within key clients
Identify and develop cross-selling and up-selling opportunities in collaboration with Sales Managers
Actively acquire new clients and expand Billennium’s presence across the Netherlands and Scandinavia
Lead preparation, negotiation, and finalization of contracts and commercial agreements
Prepare reports on sales activities, client engagement, and pipeline
Provide insights and recommendations to improve business performance and client satisfaction
Requirements Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar role (Business Development / Sales in IT services)
Strong experience with the Dutch market and/or Scandinavian markets (Nordics) – this is a must-have
Proven ability to build and maintain long-term client relationships
Strong commercial mindset with the ability to identify and develop business opportunities
Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills
Analytical approach and ability to translate client needs into business solutions
Fluent English and Dutch
