About the role  Join our growing Energy & Charging Solutions team as a Business Development Manager – EV Charging Infrastructure, where you will play a key role in expanding GAC’s charging ecosystem across Europe. This is a strategic and commercially driven position focused on building partnerships, driving market expansion, and developing tailored AC/DC charging solutions for automotive OEMs, fleets, leasing companies, and strategic partners.
You will work at the intersection of business development, technical integration, and strategic partnerships to support the transition toward intelligent and sustainable mobility solutions.

Key Responsibilities   Build and manage strategic partnerships with automotive brands, leasing companies, fleet operators, charging network operators, and mobility service providers.
Identify new business opportunities and establish long‑term commercial relationships to expand GAC’s EV charging footprint across Europe.
Represent GAC at industry events, customer meetings, and strategic business forums.
Develop and execute market entry strategies for AC/DC charging solutions in new European markets.
Analyze market trends, competitive landscapes, regulatory frameworks, and customer requirements to identify growth opportunities.
Support go‑to‑market planning, channel development, and partner onboarding activities.
Lead negotiations for pricing models, partnership structures, commercial agreements, and long‑term cooperation frameworks.
Manage contract discussions in collaboration with legal, finance, and executive stakeholders.
Develop commercially viable business cases to support strategic investment decisions.
Collaborate with internal R&D and product teams to customize charging solutions, such as app functions, based on customer and OEM requirements.
Support adaptations related to branding, charging power output, software functionality, interoperability, safety features, and compliance requirements.
Provide market feedback and customer insights to support future product development.
Act as the bridge between commercial teams and engineering teams to support integration of charger hardware and software into the automotive ecosystem.
Coordinate technical discussions with OEMs, partners, and suppliers regarding charging standards, backend systems, connectivity, and energy management solutions.
Support project execution from pre‑sales through implementation and delivery.
Achieve sales targets for EV charging hardware, software services, and related mobility solutions.
Develop and manage sales pipelines, forecasts, and strategic account plans.
Monitor KPIs and business performance to ensure sustainable revenue growth.
What You Bring   Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Energy Management, Automotive, or a related field is preferred; equivalent industry experience will also be considered.
Proven experience in business development, strategic partnerships, or sales within EV charging, automotive, energy, or mobility sectors.
Strong understanding of AC/DC charging technologies, EV ecosystem, and charging infrastructure business models.
Experience in commercial negotiations and contract management.
Ability to work cross‑functionally with technical and commercial stakeholders.
Strong analytical, communication, and presentation skills.
Fluent in English (additional European languages and/or Chinese are considered a plus).
Willingness to travel across Europe.
