We are seeking a driven and results-oriented New Business Manager to join our growing team. In this role, your main goal will be to generate new business opportunities by securing meetings with potential clients. You will build strong relationships, identify leads, and promote our services related to B2C CRM, marketing automation, and digital transformation.
Key Responsibilities
Proactively identify and pursue new business opportunities through outbound prospecting, networking, and lead generation.
Develop and manage a pipeline of qualified leads to meet monthly and quarterly sales targets.
Conduct discovery calls and presentations to understand client needs and present tailored solutions.
Build long-term relationships with new clients, ensuring a smooth handover to the account management or delivery team.
Collaborate with internal marketing specialists to craft sales stories and materials.
Partner closely with company founders to refine the business development approach and strategy.
Target and engage with marketing, digital, and IT decision-makers at prospective client companies.
Stay informed on industry trends, market developments, and competitor activity.
Requirements
5+ years of experience in business development, sales, or consulting in digital, B2C CRM, or marketing automation.
Strong existing network within digital marketing or CRM consulting industries.
Background in consultancy firms (e.g., Accenture Song, Deloitte, McKinsey, BCG) or CRM agencies (e.g., Merkle, Publicis, Oogst, Monks) is highly preferred.
Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
Ability to identify client challenges and translate them into tailored solutions.
Self-motivated, proactive, and goal-oriented.
Fluent in English;
Dutch is a plus.
Based in Amsterdam with flexible working options; after onboarding, field-based engagement is encouraged.
Reports to the business founders.
Opportunity to grow into a formal Sales Lead role as the business expands.
Compensation & Terms
Competitive base salary (depending on experience).
Bonus structure available; potential for variable pay setup based on targets.
12-month contract with potential for extension.
