Distribution Director

Leading international retailer looking to appoint a Warehouse Director in their Netherlands base.

The Role –
Working with sales team to identify new opportunities for distribution channels and negotiating contracts with potential partners
Estimating the potential market size of a given product based on historical data
Developing and implementing marketing strategies to promote products through distribution channels
Reviewing sales figures to identify trends and making recommendations to improve performance
Distributing products to retailers, wholesalers, and other partners in accordance with company policies
Negotiating contracts with new partners to establish terms of business relationships
Managing inventory levels by forecasting demand, ordering new inventory, and arranging for the shipment of goods to stores
Reviewing computerized inventory records to determine which items are selling well, which need to be restocked, and which should be discontinued
Monitoring inventory levels to ensure that retailers have sufficient quantities of products on hand to meet consumer demand
The ideal candidate will be coming from a similar background, ideally from the fashion retailing world.
