Regional; EMEA Security Centre, Analyst

Operational in nature, the Regional Security Centre is a regional function within our client organisation. The successful applicant must demonstrate flexibility, creative thinking, and a positive attitude with the capacity to support 24/7/365 operational coverage.

The role provides integral operational support to a large regional organisation.

• Monitor and initiate responses to incidents and emergencies including fire alarm evacuations, security incidents, suspicious activities, etc.
• Monitor the access control and security alarm system; alarm notification and response, incident notifications, locking/unlocking doors
• Monitor and utilise the CCTV camera network and other communications systems as required
• Update BOLO/Person of Interest lists with relevant info; escalate when required
• Badging support where required
• Travel Security support where required
• Monitor social media during designated events, and for event-related incidents; real-time monitoring identifying impacts to client operations; proactive social media monitoring for threats
• Database entries, requests for information for stakeholders, audit, and management support
• Alerts to security and business teams
• Other tasks as guided
• Operational guard deployment

• 1 – 3 years’ experience in a security-related role
• Excellent writing and verbal skills
• Geopolitical knowledge and understanding
• Comfortable working with different technology platforms/applications

• Experience in a fast-paced, reactive operations centre environment
• Civilian, law enforcement or military employment within an intelligence or threat analysis field
