About us:Elasticsearch, one of the hottest startups in open source, is looking to expand its stellar marketing team with a front-end developer who will be responsible for improving and maintaining our new web properties – and elasticsearch.org.
With well over 250,000 downloads per month and over 3M downloads cumulatively, Elasticsearch offers an opportunity for talented people to develop and deepen their skills within a fast-growth start-up environment. Our websites play a key role in the success of our business, providing the primary interaction with our developer community, as well as driving the majority of our lead generation.
What we are looking for:
A primary owner and advocate of our website activities. Someone who loves coming up with new ideas and implementing them quickly.
Requirements:
A Word Press expertAn A-player with an impressive track record and portfolio to back this upSomeone who will own the development of our two websites from inception through completion.Build launch and landing pages to support marketing campaignsImplement visual designs using clean, reusable templates and style sheetsArchitect front-end for usability and scaleContinually refine and optimize web pagesCollaborate with UI/UX/Graphics designer to turn their designs into great user experiencesWhat you bring to the table:
Experience creating great web-based user experiencesRapid prototyping and wire framingWeb standards and performance tuningExperience with responsive design and mobileExperience with integrating Marketo or other marketing automation software a plusWhat’s in it for you?
