Internship Overview
As part of this internship, you will design and develop a user-friendly application that connects to a central database containing data from real-life catalyst applications. This application will enable users to efficiently upload, retrieve, review, and update data in a structured and reliable way. The assignment involves translating user requirements into a practical software solution, implementing robust communication between the application and the database, and ensuring data integrity and usability.
You will work at the intersection of software development and process engineering, contributing to digital tools that support decision-making and operational excellence.
ResponsibilitiesDevelop a functional user-facing application connected to a central database.
Create a robust data handling framework ensuring accuracy and consistency.
Produce technical documentation (e.g., user guide) and recommendations for further improvements or scalability.
Deliver a final presentation/demo to an extended group.
Qualifications & Skills- Abstract thinking.
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
- Experience with programming (e.g., , C#, VBA preferred).
- Basic knowledge of databases and SQL (queries, data structures).
- Ability to translate user requirements into technical solutions.
