• Oversee and scale cloud infrastructure using Istio to manage a complex ecosystem of 100+ microservices.
• Drive innovation in monitoring frameworks by implementing and maintaining tracing and metrics pipelines using Grafana Alloy, Mimir, and Open Telemetry / Jaeger.
• Maintain the stability of existing systems while supporting their architectural migration and replacement within GCP.
• Coordinate the rollout, maintenance, and optimization of the Kubernetes platform across diverse cloud environments and bare‑metal systems worldwide.
• Own infrastructure initiatives end‑to‑end, translating ambiguous or high‑level objectives into reliable, production‑ready engineering solutions.
• Participate in a respectful team culture, engaging with mentors and peers to elevate engineering standards.

• Experience managing production systems.
• Ability to navigate loosely defined objectives and operate independently.
• Proficiency in cloud architecture and infrastructure management.
• Strong understanding of Kubernetes and containerization.
• Nice to have:
  Experience with Istio, Grafana Alloy, Mimir, Open Telemetry, Jaeger, Go, Java.
