We are seeking an experienced Senior Salesforce Developer to join a major digital transformation programme for a leading organisation based in Amsterdam.

This role is ideal for a highly skilled Salesforce professional who has delivered complex enterprise-scale solutions across multiple Salesforce clouds and has a strong background in modern development practices, CI/CD, Dev Ops, and release management.

You will play a key role in designing, developing, and optimising Salesforce solutions while helping to drive platform best practices, governance, quality, and scalable delivery processes.

• Design, develop, and implement complex Salesforce solutions across multiple business domains.
• Collaborate closely with architects, product owners, business stakeholders, and delivery teams.
• Develop custom functionality using Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Visualforce, and Salesforce APIs.
• Lead technical design discussions and contribute to architectural decision-making.
• Implement scalable, secure, and maintainable Salesforce solutions following best practices.
• Manage integrations between Salesforce and external enterprise applications.
• Support and enhance CI/CD pipelines and automated deployment processes.
• Drive release management activities across multiple environments.
• Perform code reviews and mentor junior developers.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex platform and integration issues.
• Ensure compliance with platform governance, security, and performance standards.

• Salesforce Platform
  • 7+ years of Salesforce development experience.
  • Strong experience across core Salesforce clouds, including:
    • Sales Cloud
    • Service Cloud
    • Experience Cloud
  • Deep understanding of the Salesforce platform, data model, security model, and governor limits.
  • Extensive experience with:
    • Apex Development
    • Lightning Web Components (LWC)
    • SOQL and SOSL
    • Salesforce APIs
    • Platform Events
    • Flows and Automation
    • Dev Ops & Release Management
  • Proven experience implementing and managing Salesforce CI/CD pipelines.
  • Strong understanding of modern Salesforce Dev Ops practices.
  • Experience with:
    • Git
    • Git Hub / Git Lab / Azure Dev Ops
    • Salesforce DX (SFDX)
    • Automated testing frameworks
    • Deployment automation
    • Branching strategies
  • Experience managing complex multi-environment release cycles.
  • Knowledge of change management and deployment governance practices.
• Integration Experience
  • Strong API development and integration experience.
  • Experience integrating Salesforce with enterprise platforms and third-party applications.
