Salt is currently hiring a Mobile Developer(kotlin) for a client of ours in Amsterdam. Role is freelance(kvk/zzp) for 6 months, paying 100 euros an hour.
Role OverviewWe are looking for a Kotlin Mobile Developer to design, develop, test, and maintain high-quality native Android applications. You will work closely with product, design, QA, and engineering teams to deliver scalable, reliable, and user-friendly mobile solutions while taking ownership across the development lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and maintain native Android applications using Kotlin and modern Android practices.
- Write clean, reusable, maintainable, and well-tested code.
- Design and implement new mobile features based on business and product requirements.
- Apply appropriate architecture, design patterns, and Android development standards.
- Develop automated unit and UI tests and continuously improve application quality.
- Identify and resolve performance, reliability, and production issues.
- Participate in technical design, code reviews, and architecture discussions.
- Monitor application performance and contribute to continuous improvement.
- Collaborate effectively with product, design, QA, backend, and engineering teams.
- Contribute to technical documentation and support knowledge sharing within the team.
- Strong experience developing native Android applications with Kotlin.
- Good knowledge of Android SDK, Jetpack, and modern Android architecture.
- Experience with automated testing and CI/CD.
