With a fleet of more than 100 multipurpose cargo vessels, the Spliethoff Group manages one of the largest fleets in the Netherlands. Within this fleet we have vacancies for Officers and Ratings, licensed for vessels above 3000 GT and 3000 kW.

The vessels are trading worldwide. Transportation of forest products such as paper, pulp and sawn timber is a core activity next to project cargoes, generals, containers and bulk. One day you could be loading paper in the depths of a Baltic winter and a couple of weeks later discharging in the tropics. Then again, it could be containers or a complicated project cargo - always a lot of work and never a dull moment!

• Preferably came from vessels with 3000 KW or more
• Experience in working with European crew
• Experience with Wartsila engines is an advantage but not required
• In possession of License for Officer in Charge of Engineering watch is an advantage but not required

We are looking for real seamen, who like to work hard and who have a great sense of responsibility. People who thrive on teamwork and enjoy doing a job together.
Naturally you have the right papers. Seeing the size of our tonnage, this means a complete licence and certificates and a positive recent medical test. You also have a good command of the English language.
