Aircraft Sheet Metal Worker

CAE Parc Aviation along with our esteemed partner KLM are excited to announce that we are actively recruiting for Aircraft Sheet Metal Workers at Schiphol Airport. You will be working in the Airframe Department which is responsible for aircraft maintenance for the KLM fleet and worldwide customers, this is a permanent position. Main responsibilities:

  • Independently carry out technical repairs, maintenance and modification work on the aircraft structure, sheet metal parts and composite parts of all common aircraft types in accordance with the regulations.
  • Working on a modification and standard maintenance task.
  • Aircraft Sheet Metal Worker must carry out maintenance work according to the booklet and in line with safety requirements.
  • Make an active contribution to optimizing maintenance processes.
  • Inspecting aircraft structures, preparing, and supervising work and modifications, so that they are carried out in accordance with regulations and meet the requirements with regards to airworthiness and safety.
  • Supervising, monitoring progress, and taking corrective measures.
  • Carrying out inspections of primary and secondary aircraft structures, sheet metal parts and composite parts.
  • Assessing the condition of structures, recording findings, and developing them into tasks.
  • Preparing aircraft records in relation to the expected activities and required capacity.
Minimum Skills & Experience:
  • You are flexible, take responsibility and focus on quality and safety.
  • You are thriving in a dynamic and rapidly changing work environment.
  • Min BTEC Level 3/4 Diploma in Aircraft Technology or similar technical diploma
  • Min 2 years of experience in the field of sheet metal and composite work.
  • Willingness to follow a training course.
  • You are good with computers – especially with drawings and plans.
  • EU Passport or VISA to work within The Netherlands
  • English language – good written and verbal communication skills.
  • Good understanding of technical English
  • High level of self-discipline, attention to detail, self-motivated and work well as part of a team.
