Orderpicker UPS

Manpower is looking for multiple orderpickers for UPS in Amsterdam. If you're seeking a dynamic role working with friendly colleagues in the beautiful city of Amsterdam, this could be the opportunity for you! You will be responsible for loading, unloading, shipping, receiving, scanning, sorting, and storing packages. The role involves using heavy machinery, processing incoming goods, scanning and verifying packages, entering data into systems, sorting shipments, and loading trucks according to routes.

Responsibilities include:

• Scanning goods
• Handling errors
• Processing documents in the system
• Sorting goods by postcode
• Learning and applying UPS package processing methods
• Loading and unloading packages from trucks

Working hours:

• Morning shift: 4:00 to 8:00
• Afternoon shift: 16:00 to 19:00

Requirements include:

• Good command of Dutch or English for communication and safety
• Ability to perform physically demanding tasks such as lifting and shuffling (up to 32 kg / 70 lbs)
• Ability to read and memorize postcodes
• Willingness to work flexible shifts, up to 5 days a week
• Warehouse experience is a plus
• Possession or willingness to obtain a VOG (Certificate of Conduct)
• Availability of 20 hours per week

Preferably residing in or near Amsterdam, Amstelveen, Almere, Haarlem, or Zaandam.
