We offer competitive compensation of $21.00 - $23.00 per hour.

• Participate in outing planning and transportation.
• Monitor staff compliance with policies, procedures, training expectations, and protocols.
• Assist in the investigation of accidents, injuries or other incidents requiring employee interviews and the preparation of statements.
• Provide training on treatment principals, including Behavioral Interventions, and generally assist the Residential Coordinator as needed and requested.

• At least three (3) years of experience is required and/or an associate degree in a Human Services field or minimum of a bachelor’s degree in any field and minimum of two (2) years of appropriate and related experience in Human Services.
• Ability, under AWARE’s Unconditional Care Philosophy, to implement individual support plans with knowledge of behavioral techniques, interventions, skill building techniques, and understanding of the emotional and behavioral needs of individuals diagnosed a developmental disability.
• Requires computer literacy skills, including the ability to navigate, record, and overall basic computer skills needed for performance-based software as well as an electronic medical records system.
• The Program Specialist must have interpersonal oral and written communication skills to work as a team member, to make observations and to report them accurately, to learn resident care methods, and to follow oral and written instructions.
