We’re searching for a personable dental hygienist to join our talented team of healthcare providers! You’ll welcome patients and conduct their initial screenings, perform thorough dental cleanings, and help dentists with examinations and procedures. Applicants should be knowledgeable about dentistry best practices, possess excellent interpersonal skills, and love working with people.
Compensation $67+ hourly DOE
Responsibilities- Protect patients’ teeth by thoroughly cleaning them and applying fluoride or other sealants
- Check for issues such as gingivitis, periodontitis, or caries so patients can receive care as soon as the problem is identified
- Make patients feel at ease and taken care of before, during, and after the appointment
- Advise patients on how to properly care for their teeth after a procedure or operation
- Associate’s degree and certification in a dental hygiene program required; higher education is highly valued
- Dental hygienist license in the state where the job is located
- At least 1-2 years of experience in dental hygiene
- In-depth knowledge of dental safety regulations and HIPAA regulations
- Certified to perform CPR
