Gastroenterologist

Island Health is seeking a full-time BC/BE Gastroenterologist physician to join our growing, well-respected, Island Surgeons team. This is an opportunity to practice full scope gastroenterology/endoscopy primarily in outpatient clinic days and hospital based endoscopy suite. Ideal candidates will have excellent communication skills to develop relationships with referring physicians and hospital staff. Island Health has provided gastroenterology and endoscopy services to our community for over twenty years, this is a unique opportunity for a gastroenterologist to join an established general surgery practice at Island Health.

• 4- day work week
• Outpatient care only
• No Call requirement
• Work closely with cohesive, multi-specialty group providers with support staff
• Integrated Meditech Expanse EMR platform, utilized throughout the organization
• Active Washington State Medical License or the ability to obtain one
• Compensation is between $594,462 and $713,354 per year
• Sign on bonus: $30,000
• Competitive base salary guarantee and productivity incentives the first year of employment combined with comprehensive CME & Professional Society allowance; malpractice coverage, Washington State Medical License, DEA and Medical Staff dues paid by Island Health.
