• Position patients to produce radiographs as prescribed by a physician.
• Provide immobilization devices as required.
• Adjust equipment controls to produce quality radiographs.
• Administer drugs or chemical mixtures orally or via enema to render organs opaque.
• Ensure radiation protection during exams.
• Process films manually or automatically.
• Transport patients safely to and from waiting areas or rooms.

• Current X-Ray Technician registration issued by the WA Department of Health.
• Enrollment in an accredited Radiology Technologist program.
• BLS Certification required.
