- Clean and disinfect patient rooms, OR suites, recovery areas, offices, and clinics
- Sanitize beds, furniture, counters, fixtures, and restrooms
- Replace cubicle curtains and drapes in patient areas
- Maintain resilient and carpeted floors, using mops, vacuums, and floor machines
- Clean walls, windows, and equipment throughout the facility
- Collect and dispose of trash, recyclable materials, and soiled linens
- Unload, inspect, and distribute laundered items to patient care areas
- Set up and clean conference rooms for meetings
- Maintain equipment and storage rooms in a neat, safe, and sanitary condition
- Read and follow chemical labels, ensuring proper dilution and use of cleaning agents
- High School Diploma or GED (required)
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness and infection control
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Dependability and a positive attitude
Physical ability to lift up to 25 lbs., stand for extended periods, and perform repetitive tasks
The position involves working indoors in a healthcare environment and may involve exposure to cleaning agents, bodily fluids, or other substances common to hospital settings. Appropriate PPE and training are provided to ensure safety.
