Trident Seafoods is the largest vertically integrated seafood harvesting and processing company in North America. Species harvested and processed by Trident include virtually every commercial species of salmon, whitefish, and crab harvested in the North Pacific and Alaska. The global supply chain also includes cultured and wild species from a network of trusted sources worldwide.

Processes seafood product on one or more assigned production lines by performing the following duties.

• Cleans, scrapes, trims and fillets product.
• Opens and removes raw materials from packaging and places on belts.
• Segregates product on conveyor belt or table according to grade, color, and size, and places product in containers or on designated conveyors.
• Discards and culls inferior or defective items and foreign matter.
• Packs product in boxes, barrels, baskets, or crates for storage or shipment.
• Reviews workspace for cleanliness and safety.
• Ability to perform Tier I essential functions at a higher level of productivity and quality.
• Tasks and assignments must be performed in a safe manner at all times.

• Performs other similar or related duties as requested or assigned.

This is a nonexempt position with an hourly rate of $18 to $26.19 per hour. Trident Seafoods offers a comprehensive and quality benefits package. • No minimum qualifications.

• Ability to read a limited number of two-and three-syllable words and to recognize similarities and differences between words and between series of numbers. Ability to print and speak simple sentences. Ability to add and subtract two-digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10’s and 100’s. Ability to perform these operations using units of American money and weight measurement, volume, and distance.
