Matrix Service Co. is seeking an AVW – Automated Vertical Welding Operator to perform structural and plate welding for above ground storage tanks, following project specs and AWS/API standards.
The role requires welding vertical, horizontal and overhead joints on carbon steel and other materials, with attention to quality and safety. Work includes reading blueprints, welding maps, and shop drawings, maintaining tools, adhering to procedures, and supporting NDE where needed.
