Registered Nurse, (RN) - Intensive Care Unit, Part-Time, Night Shift

Location:

Anacortes, WA (hospital)

Base pay range: $36.90/hr - $69.95/hr

• 30 hours per week
• Night shift

• Sign-On Bonus: $15,000
• Night Differential: $4.75/hr
• Evening Differential: $3.25/hr
• Weekend Differential: $4.00/hr
• BSN (or higher) premium: $1.00/hr
• Certification premium: $1.00/hr

• Administers prescribed medications and treatments in accordance with approved nursing standards.
• Utilizes the nursing process (assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, evaluation) to provide patient care.
• Participates in communication and problem solving with patient/significant other, health team members and departments.
• Assesses knowledge level of patient/significant other, develops teaching plans, and evaluates outcomes.
• Documents components of the nursing process according to established standards.
• Assesses own learning needs, establishes priorities, and develops action plans.
• Enters patient data into computer.
• Demonstrates knowledge of growth and development across the lifespan and age-specific needs.
• Supports principles of case management.

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
• Current WA State RN License
• Current Basic Life Support Certification
• Current Advanced Cardiac Life Support
• 8 hours/year of stroke education required
• Completion of Critical Care Consortium classes (unless previous ICU experience)
• Minimum of one year experience in an Acute Care setting (preferred)
