The Digital Marketplace Manager is a critical role on the Revenue Team, responsible in ensuring all company marketplace goals are met. Reporting to our company President, you will be responsible for establishing and maintaining working relationships with multiple marketplace accounts, and responsible for ecommerce marketplace account health, sales, forecasting and logistics that increase the exposure and position of the Sea Bear brand online.

This role is visible internally both with peers and senior leadership and requires a candidate who has undeniable cross-functional collaboration and communication and strong business acumen.

Our headquarters are based in Anacortes, WA. This is an in-office position.

Responsibilities
  • Manage relationships with key third-party accounts including Amazon (agency supported), , , Goldbelly, and others.
  • Act as liaison between the Revenue, Operations, Finance and Marketing teams, ensuring account and listing health remains top priority.
  • Maintain a perspective on revenue and profitability vs. goal as well as assortment productivity and inventory levels, partnering closely with finance and operations teams.
  • Implement data-driven sales targets and strategic action plans for the third-party business, aligning with overall commercial and brand objectives.
  • Maintain A+, zero-defect listings to the end customer – complete listing updates, assess keywords, highlight creative/content needs and update third-party and internal platforms.
  • Forecast sales and communicate inventory levels on an ongoing basis and ensure 3PLs are delivering upon agreed service levels. Manage item level forecasting and the inventory process with the larger team.
  • Achieve a consistent, uniform pricing and promotional experience – set and maintain the agreed upon pricing and promotional strategy, flagging and escalating any reseller issues until they are resolved.
  • Manage and identify future business development opportunities with the marketplace channel that increase Sea Bear’s awareness and penetration.
  • Support broader Revenue Team as needed.
Requirements
  • Experience in sales and/or customer service
  • Solid track record of taking ownership, driving results and moving with speed to implement ideas; proven track record of moving a roadmap forward with executive sponsorship
  • A self-motivated, self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience prioritizing and delivering on multiple initiatives based on business need
  • Strong organizational and project management skills and the ability to get results
  • Ability to identify and diagnose root causes, develop solutions and implement
  • Experience with third-party platforms and advertising vehicles is desired
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing or related field OR commensurate experience

Salary Range - $80,000 to $90,000 DOE

Unlimited PTO, sick time, and birthday/anniversary days
