As a Security Officer - Site Patrol Driver in Anacortes, WA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a chemical or petrochemical location, you will monitor and patrol designated areas to help to deter security-related incidents. Your role includes conducting routine patrols, maintaining high visibility, and delivering outstanding customer service and communication.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to our clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter of the chemical and petrochemical location to help to deter unauthorized activity and observe for unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and report any suspicious activity or security-related concerns to the appropriate personnel.
• Document observations and incidents according to company and client protocols.
• Assist with emergency evacuations and/or response efforts as directed by site procedures.
• Communicate professionally with site personnel, visitors, and Allied Universal management.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
