Senior Accountant – Entertainment, Hospitality & Corporate PartnershipsA leading entertainment organization in Anaheim is hiring a Senior Accountant to support its hospitality and corporate partnerships business. Reporting to the Sr. Director of Finance, this role will support high-volume, revenue-driven operations across food & beverage, venue operations, and sponsor ships.
What You’ll Do- Own key accounting and controllership functions for hospitality and partnership revenue streams
- Manage sponsorship revenue recognition, invoicing, and commission expense
- Prepare journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations, and support month-end close
- Support budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and cash flow planning
- Oversee daily sales settlements, revenue sharing, and cash/expense reconciliations
- Manage intercompany billings and support sales tax filings
- Partner cross-functionally and mentor junior accounting staff
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting; CPA preferred
- 5+ years of accounting experience in operations-heavy environments
- Background in hospitality, entertainment, live events, or high-volume businesses strongly preferred
- Strong GAAP knowledge and experience with complex transactions
- ERP experience preferred (Dynamics 365 and/or Net Suite a plus)
- Self-starter with strong communication and analytical skills
