Control Air Enterprises LLC is looking for a Collections Clerk who can immediately join our Accounting Department at our headquarters in Anaheim, California. Work full-time in our professional office environment.
Job DescriptionWe are looking for a detail-oriented individual with a minimum of 1 year in Accounts Receivable and Collection experience who will take full ownership of the A/R & Collection position at a medium-size company. The applicant will be responsible for tracking and resolving outstanding payment issues and generating weekly aging reports in a timely manner. Sage accounting software knowledge is a plus, along with proficiency in MS Office (especially Excel) and Outlook.
Also, having experience in preparing mechanic's liens and small claims application.
The applicant should display a positive and proactive attitude, strong organizational skills, the ability to prioritize and multitask, and be a strong communicator, both in writing and over the phone, as they will frequently deal with higher levels of management.
Responsibilities- Make daily collection calls.
- Conduct account research and analysis.
- Prepare and maintain various reports.
- Maintain an accurate aging report.
- Identify and execute necessary process adjustments.
- Send statements to outstanding customers.
- Interact with customers to resolve outstanding issues.
- Enter cash receipts.
- Prepare lien releases.
- Process mechanic's liens.
- Process mechanic's lien releases.
- Process releases and stop notices.
- Process release of stop notices.
- $22.50-$28.00/hr
